Applications received before these dates will receive full consideration. Applications received after these dates will be considered based on place availability. If all places are filled, late applicants will be placed on a waiting list. Results are sent approximately two weeks after each deadline.

Applicants should receive evaluation results approximately two weeks after the deadline.
For successful applications, participants will be asked to make a non-refundable advance payment of 20% of the tuition to confirm their place. The remaining 80% is due no later than one week before the field school begins.

A limited number of fellowships are available to students from underrepresented minorities and students in need from developing countries. Fellowship deadlines are the same as the application deadlines above.
The fellowship application is independent of the field school application. If you wish to apply for a fellowship, you must also complete the standard application form.
A letter of interest describing why you need the fellowship, your academic history and qualifications, the significance of the project you will undertake, and how you position yourself regarding the target group of the fellowship.
A current CV.
A letter of recommendation from a professor.
